Field Trip: Grave Creek Mound Archaeological Complex
Group will leave OCPL at 9 a.m. There will be an introductory slide program followed by a guided tour of the museum and the Mound. Heather Cline will talk to the group about the work being done in the lab. Weather permitting, the group also can tour the Interpretive Garden, and try throwing spears using atlatls (spear throwers). There will be a free Saturday film shown to the general public, which will have an archaeological subject. Bring your lunch or visit local restaurants. Those interested must RSVP.
